Beta of My p5.js Mode for Processing Is Out Now

I will quote today’s issue of the Processing Foundation Mailing List because it sums up all you need to know if you are interested in creative coding with Processing and/or p5.js:

Our pr05 grantee Stephan Max just released the first version of the new p5.js Mode (beta) for the Processing Editor. It’s an early step towards an easier way to run p5.js sketches in a desktop environment. The mode uses Electron, and you can even add Node packages to your sketches!

We’d love to hear your feedback! Email us at p5mode-feedback@processingfoundation.org.

This beta release is the result of my work as a pr05 grantee over the last three months. It includes syntax highlighting, error reporting, and a crude piece of UI to install Node packages. I would be delighted to hear what you think! I am among the recipients of the email address above, and you can also raise an issue on GitHub to give feedback.
